Did you know that Singapore and Johor Bahru will be linked via a train service come the end of 2026?
Happy to host the Land Transport Authority (LTA) Singapore Ministerial visit to the Johor Bahru-Singapore Rapid Transit System Link worksite.
Mr S Iswaran, Minister for Transport, was the Guest of Honor.
The Johor Bahru – Singapore Rapid Transit System (RTS) Link is a 4- kilometre rail shuttle between Bukit Chagar in Johor Bahru and Woodlands in Singapore.
Passengers will enjoy a fast and seamless experience travelling on the RTS Link with a train journey time of about five minutes between the two stations.
When the RTS Link opens for service at the end of 2026, it will be a game changer that will significantly improve connectivity between Johor Bahru and Singapore. It will ease traffic congestion and reduce travel time for commuters along the Causeway.
As Minister shared, work is now 45% completed on the Singapore side. It was truly an exciting moment to witness the progress of this significant transportation project, which will have a major positive impact on both sides of the Causeway.
