SEMICON® Southeast Asia 2015: Expanding Coverage of the Microelectronics Supply Chain The new SEMICON Southeast Asia will focus on the key trends and solutions in semiconductor design and manufacturing, with added emphasis on serving the needs of expanding applications markets many of which require development of specialized materials, packaging, and test technologies, as well as new architectures and processes—solutions to industry challenges that can best be addressed at SEMICON Southeast Asia.
In 2015, SEMICON Southeast Asia expands its scope and programs to bring more buyers from across the region, including programs and initiatives to attract buyers from Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, the Philippines, Vietnam, and Indonesia. Through the rotation of SEMICON Southeast Asia between Singapore, Malaysia, and the region, new business opportunities will be opened and this will foster stronger pan-regional engagement. On alternating years, SEMI Southeast Asia will continue to host regions through high-level executive conferences in Singapore and Malaysia in order to facilitate closer collaboration within the ecosystem.
