DB Schenker Singapore held the Grand Opening of the Regional Distribution Centre for a Global Luxury Group at their flagship facility, The Red Lion.
It was an eye-opening event, showcasing Schenker’s latest and greatest – the new 50,000 sqm logistics facility equipped with state-of-the-art automation technology that includes autonomous vehicles and robots, all working seamlessly with their on-site air freight operations.
It is located in the free trade zone of the Airport Logistics Park Singapore (ALPS) at Changi Airport, where it is strategically positioned to serve customers across the region and beyond.
This investment into Red Lion is 101 million euros – the largest in Schenker’s history – and demonstrates their commitment to providing first-class logistics services to customers with reduced lead times and efficient, agile logistics processes.
This is the second launch I have hosted for Schenker in which a major global brand (they remain anonymous) moved their regional supply chain operations into the Red Lion. Congratulations with many more to come!
