Happy to host PA Cares @ President’s Challenge 2024, held at People’s Association Headquarters!
President Tharman Shanmugaratnam, accompanied by Ms Jane Ittogi, was the Guest-of-honour.
The event was a fantastic showcase of community spirit and support for the President’s Challenge.
Event Highlights:
$250,000 Walk for a Cause: The People’s Association proudly pledged $250,000 to the President’s Challenge, with each kilometer walked contributing $1 to this noble cause. Participants rallied to cover distances, supporting the overall fundraising goal.
The event was opened by Senior Minister of State Low Yen Ling, followed by a heartfelt cheque presentation of $250,000 to President Shanmugaratnam, demonstrating the People’s Association’s strong support for the President’s Challenge.
Engaging Activities – Attendees participated in a range of activities, highlighted by a dynamic Football Clinic organized by PAssion Community Football. The clinic featured skill-building sessions for kids and special appearances by football legends Lim Tong Hai and Aleksander Duric.
Beneficiary Showcase – Attendees explored displays from President’s Challenge Benefitting Organisations, highlighting their valuable work and offering engaging activities for participants.
Emcee Lester was the emcee for PA Cares @ President’s Challenge.
