Prompt Royale 2024
The event started with the Prompt Royale competition.
Now in its second year, Prompt Royale empowers public sector officers with prompt engineering skills to boost productivity and improve public service.
Originally focused on data analytics, the initiative has evolved to include prompt engineering, giving officers hands-on experience to streamline daily tasks.
Three finalists from a pool of over 500 registrants, stood tall and competed on stage in the finals. Congrats to the three finalists Naim Zahari Rachel Tiang Ananya Balehithlu!
The competition featured five engineering tasks, from generating images to building a website using prompt engineering.
It was great to be back co-hosting with Game Master Nicole Lee, whose knowledge of prompt engineering is impressive.
Empower’s Human Library
The second part of the day featured an innovative concept – a Human Library, where the “books” are subject matter experts.
Five public officers were welcomed as ‘books’, covering topics such as product management, product marketing, agile, design thinking, and Data & AI.
Participants could “borrow” any of the “books” to explore the topics they were presenting.
