The bizSAFE Convention played a pivotal role in promoting bizSAFE as a pathway for companies to enhance their Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) capabilities.
As part of the Convention, a significant highlight was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the WSH Council and five SME Centres. This collaborative effort was specifically geared towards strengthening WSH capabilities within SMEs, particularly those within the bizSAFE community.
The Convention served not only as a showcase but also as a stage for acknowledging the commendable WSH endeavors of bizSAFE Enterprises and Partners. The bizSAFE Awards presentation ceremony during this event was a moment where we recognized and celebrated the outstanding contributions of 41 exemplary companies and individuals who embodied the bizSAFE spirit.
During that afternoon, we took a moment to applaud the accomplishments of these awardees who played a pivotal role within their organizations and the broader community. Their dedication ensured the effective management of safety and health risks, safeguarding the well-being of individuals.
In the latter part of the Convention, a panel discussion delved into the effectiveness of regulations in protecting lives at work. It also explored proactive measures companies could adopt beyond regulatory requirements to foster proficiency in Workplace Safety and Health (WSH).
