Borneo Motors had the launch for the all new Toyota Fortuner and also DriveHappy with Toyota.
This event also featured the first DriveHappy with Toyota Fashion Show featuring the Toyota cars line up as well as accompanying models.
The Fashion show featured the Toyota Corolla Altis, Toyota Wish, Toyota Prius C, Toyota Camry, Toyota Vellfire and the all new Toyota Fortuner.
Local dealer Borneo Motors pulled the cover off the new Fortuner at Toyota’s DriveHappy roadshow held at VivoCity. This is the latest incarnation of the automaker’s family-friendly Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV), with seating for seven passengers.
For its first full-model change since 2005, the Japanese carmaker was keen to move away from the image of a “boxy SUV”, explained the Fortuner’s executive chief engineer, Hiroki Nakajima. The Fortuner has always been an less mainstream choice for those in the market for an SUV. While the Fortuner is considerably more expensive than either, the car’s trump card is its off-road ability.
