The event was graced by Ms Grace Fu, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office, 2nd Minister for the Environment and Water Resources and 2nd Minister for Foreign Affairs and was attended by invited guests including representatives from various government agencies such
as the Economic Development Board, IE Singapore, JTC Corporation, Ministry of Manpower (MOM), National Environment Agency (NEA), Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) and SPRING Singapore.
The chemical industry and some key government agencies rallied together today to celebrate the efforts put in by our industry members to continuously demonstrated improvements in their HSE performances through the implementation of the Responsible Care programme.
SCIC is the official body representing the chemical industry of Singapore in the private sector.
As part of the Annual Dinner Programme, a total of 124 Responsible Care Awards were presented to 48 companies, who received the awards for various categories in recognition of their commendable implementation of the Responsible Care Codes of Management Practices.
The emcee of the night was Professional Singapore Emcee Lester Leo.
