Singapore World Water Day

Happy to host Singapore World Water Day 2026 by PUB, Singapore’s National Water Agency!

Mr Chan Chun Sing, Coordinating Minister for Public Services and Minister for Defence, was the Guest of Honour, joined by Ms Grace Fu, Minister for Sustainability and the Environment and Minister in charge of Trade Relations, and hosted by PUB Chief Executive Tze Chin Ong.

Every March, Singapore celebrates its collective commitment to water conservation, with businesses, schools, and community groups coming together to advocate for this vital cause.

This year’s campaign theme, “It’s Everyone’s Business to Make Every Drop Count”, is a timely call to action.

With water demand expected to almost double by 2065, PUB’s 2026 campaign places greater emphasis on mobilising industries, commercial buildings, and institutions to prioritise water efficiency and extend good water conservation habits beyond the home and into the workplace.

Minister Chan and Minister Fu led a water conservation pledging ceremony during the morning programme.

They were joined by three industry partners who are water efficiency leaders within their sectors: Mr Soon Lim, Chief Executive Officer of Systems on Systems on Silicon Manufacturing Company Pte Ltd (SSMC), Mr Alex Chia, Retail Cluster Head of Frasers Property Limited Singapore representing Northpoint City, and Ms Peh Hui Ling, Head of Department for Character and Citizenship Education at Tampines Secondary School, each pledging their commitment to water conservation.

The event also featured Partner Showcase Booths, a Pledge Wall and an Interactive Water Impact Wall, welcoming guests from organisations across industries as well as the general public through the day.

Singapore World Water Day is also proud to be held in support of the Year of Climate Adaptation, designated by the Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment, Singapore to strengthen Singapore’s collective resilience against the impacts of climate change.
