Mr Alvin Tan, Minister of State, Ministry of Trade and Industry (Singapore), Ministry of National Development Singapore, was the Guest-of-honour.
The evening brought together industry leaders, partners and stakeholders from across the chemical industry to recognise companies that have demonstrated strong commitment to health, safety, security and environmental performance through the Responsible Care programme.
A total of 92 Responsible Care Awards were presented to 37 companies across manufacturing, logistics and services, and trading sectors.
The Leadership Awards, which is the highest level of recognition, went to PCS Pte. Ltd. and SUMITOMO CHEMICAL ASIA PTE LTD Singapore Pte Ltd MMA Plant, honouring their long-term excellence in Responsible Care.
A standout moment of the evening was a performance by Azalea Band, made up of musicians with physical and sensory impairments. Beyond safety and compliance, Responsible Care also means caring for the people and communities around us.
