Kerendia also known as Finerenone was approved on 25th November last year. This marks the 2nd Kerendia approval in the APAC region with the indication to reduce the risk of sustained eGFR decline, end-stage kidney disease, cardiovascular death, non-fatal myocardial infarction and hospitalization for heart failure in adults with chronic kidney disease and albuminuria associated with type 2 diabetes, on top of standard of care.
