Emcee Lester Leo is the emcee for the FJC Workplan 2026.

The Family Justice Courts (FJC) Workplan 2026, themed “Purpose in Action – Shaping Futures Together,” was launched on March 13, 2026, by Presiding Judge Justice Teh Hwee Hwee. The strategic roadmap focuses on deepening therapeutic justice, improving system accessibility, and upskilling court professionals to better serve families.
Youth Courts Therapeutic Justice (YC TJ) Model: The headline launch of 2026 extends the TJ framework to the Youth Courts. This shifts the focus away from adversarial proceedings in areas like care and protection orders, family guidance, and youth offending.
Child-Centred Approach: The FJC is systematically integrating child-inclusive sessions into counselling and mediation. This process allows children’s perspectives to be heard appropriately, tailored to their developmental stages, ensuring better-rounded outcomes in family conflicts.
Three Strategic Pillars:
- Deepening Therapeutic Justice: Evolving the justice system to be less adversarial and more focused on resolving disputes in a collaborative, non-confrontational manner.
- Responsive Systems: Streamlining processes to ensure justice is timely and highly accessible.
- Investing in People: Developing the capabilities and leadership of court professionals and stakeholders across family justice dimensions
