Singapore Chemical Industry Council Achievement Awards 2011 & Annual Dinner 2012
This event is the Chemical industry’s Annual Awards and Dinner. Featuring companies such as Exxon Mobil, Chevron, Shell, SembCorp and BASF, this awards ceremony showcased the best practices of the Chemical Industry. Senior Parliamentary Secretary for Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Manpower Mr Hawazi Daipi was the Guest-of-Honor.
IBM Family Day
IBM celebrated its annual family day at the Sapphire pavillion at Sentosa. This event featured telematches, amazing race and a speed tag competition.
Toshiba @ SISTEX
Lester was the emcee for Toshiba at SISTEX. Different segments included hourly sale specials, interaction with crowds, trivia giveaways and also constant promoting of promotional products.

Takeda held its annual D&D for staff, where the event featured fun and games.
Singapore Oriental Motor D&D
Singapore Oriental Motor company celebrated its annual D&D for its staff. This event was conducted with a mix of English and Chinese as many of the staff were from China. This event featured games and dance segments.

Crisplant, under the Beumer Group, celebrated its annual D&D at Grand Corpthorne Hotel. This event featured fun games segment, as well as dance segments.
Changi General Hospital Quality Convention 2012
Changi General Hospital held its annual quality convention 2012 to showcase the best that CGH has to offer. Awards include Gold Service Award and the Departmental Service Quality Award. CEO of CGH Dr Lee Chien Earn did the honors.

Thai-listed Airports of Thailand held a seminar showcase at the 7th ACI Asia Pacific Regional Assembly to showcase the 6 airports under management. The showcase was also to highlight Phuket International Airport as the host for the 8th ACI Asia Pacific Regional Assembly.
Singapore Big Three FIBA Streetball World Tour
This Singapore Sports Council supported, FIBA Streetball World Tour held its qualifier for the Singapore leg with the winner flying to Russia to compete for the world title.

This seminar, organized by EDN Asia, educated about the embedded systems industry. Program included guest speakers and lucky draws.
Streetball Gala 2012
Streetball Gala featured two days of exciting adrenalin, fusing two of the world’s most popular sport – soccer & basketball – into one all-encompassing battle. Guest-of-honour for this outdoor event was Mr Sam Tan, Senior Parliamentary Secretary for Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Mayor for Central Singapore District.
Keppel Club Chinese New Year Celebration
Keppel Club ushered in the New Year for the committee and members in style. Featuring many veteran performers, from traditional chinese performance to dragon dance on poles, Keppel Club celebrated CNY with a bang.
SAF Transport Hub West Chinese New Year Celebration
Held at the Chevrons, Commanding Officer Christopher Choong ushered in the Chinese New Year with a massive celebration. The celebration featured dragon dance games and performances, with SAF Music & Drama Company belting out many familiar Chinese tunes.
Mandarin Orchard Hotel Media X’mas Party
Mandarin Orchard celebrated its fufilling year by throwing a bash for members of the media. This event featured journalists and DJs of radio stations, and Lester emceed the event with exciting games and facilitated the performances to make the event a fun and exciting one.
ChemEx 2011
Jointly organized by the Singapore Chemical Industry Council and CHIMAC, and supported by EDB, A*Star and JTC, this event showcased the chemical industry on Jurong Island. Shell, Chevron, ExxonMobil and TPC were among some of the sponsors. Lester was the emcee and conducted stage activities and games to showcase the companies in various high energy segments.
Taka Jewellery Roadshows
Held at different locations, Taka jewellery held roadshows to commemorate its 10th year anniversary. This roadsow featured flash sales of jewellery as well as activities to celebrate its anniversary.
Silicon Labs D&D 2011
Held at Orchard Hotel, this was Silicon Labs Annual Dinner & Dance. This event featured many games segment as well as a best dressed segment. “Colours of the night” was the theme, and Lester brought out the best of Silicon labs through the interesting games segment.
Real Star Premier Group D&D 2011
Held at Wine Bar at St James Power Station, this masquerade themed ball was Real Star’s annual dinner and dance cum X’mas party. Lester conceptualized the games with the client and delighted the crowd with his showmanship.
Thomson CC Wellness Centre Launch
MP for Bishan-Toa Payoh GRC Hari Kumar was the guest-of-honor. This event featured the opening of the Thomson CC Wellness Centre, also part of the Successful Aging for Singapore initiative under the People’s Association.
Shriro D&D 2011
This dinner and dance, held at Swissotel the Stamford, featured the theme “Casino Night”. Lester was the emcee and conducted the games and also the roulette lucky draw. This event also featured the best of Shriro drinkers, and brought out the best in the company.
Coral Secondary School Prom Night
Held at Club Soul, this event featured graduating students of Coral Secondary School. Lester emceed the event to great success, bringing cheers and laughter to the graduates. There were games and performances, and also the competition to crown Mr and Miss Prom King and Queen.
HSBC Roadshows
HSBC conducted various roadshows to promote their time deposit specials. Lester was required to interact with members of the public in the Spin-and-Win segment to draw the crowds in toward the bank branch.
NBA2K12 Ultimate Bball Championship
This event featured competitors from 14 different schools competing for the right to be crowned the NBA2K12 Ultimate Bball Champion. There were three segments – 3-on-3 courtside matchup, 1-on-1 NBA2K12 video game match and a 2-on-2 schools’ debate segment.
One Community Walk
Organized by the people’s association, this is the culmination of the four-month long Community Sports Festival 2011. The walk is a signature event organised by the Community Sports Club Council (CSC). Mr Yeo Guat Kwang, MP for Ang-Mo-Kio GRC, was the guest of honor.
Yishun Resident’s Committee Lift Upgrading Party
Helmed by MP for Nee Soon Mr Patrick Tay, this celebration featured a block party for residents before the beginning of their lift upgrading program.
Regional Container Lines D&D 2011
Held at Swissotel Merchant Court, this is RCL Group’s annual D&D. The event featured an award ceremony as well as many games segments. This event also featured role playing by the emcee in his costume to fit the theme.
Standard Chartered Bank SME X’mas Party
Held at the velvet underground, this informal event featured the Bank’s SME banking team. Program included a singing contest and games.
NSRCC D&D
Held at Gotham Penthouse, this D&D featured a live auction as well as the giving out of awards. Lester executed the live auction as well as the proceedings for the night.
SMU Sports Union Sports Award Night
Master of Ceremony Lester Chia was the emcee for the annual SMU Sports Union Sports Award Night. This awards night showcased the best of SMU’s sporting talent and rewarded outstanding talent. This event included games and the presentation of prizes.
SMU Patron’s Day
In celebration of SMU Founder’s Day, SMU held a carnival on Campus Green. Lester was the emcee for the event. His excellency, President S.R Nathan, was the guest of honor for the day.
OCBC Roadshow
Held along the SMU concourse, this roadshow required the emcee to engage the audience to sign up for the OCBC-SMU debit cards
Threvolution
Held at SMU T-junction, this event was held to educate students about recycling and protecting the environment and featured local band, E.I.C, with Jack and Rai.
SMU Arts & Cultural Faternity Investiture
This formal investiture appointed in the 3rd ACF executive committee.
“Know your body” Health Symposium
This symposium featured guest speakers on health issues. The emcee later moderated the Q&A session with the guest speakers.
Andrew Matthew’s Book Launch and Workshop
Andrew Matthews, a renowed author from Australia with his famed books on success and happiness, had his book launch as well as a workshop with about 300 participants.
Police Family Week
The annual Police Family Week played host to Police commissioner, Mr Khoo Boon Hui. Held at both the Singapore Zoo and the Jurong Bird Park, Lester was the emcee for these events.
