This prestigious National Level event saw Singapore welcoming new citizens into it’s ranks. This ceremony marks the culmination of the journey towards Singapore Citizenship; a journey that has led the new citizens and their family to call Singapore, Home!
This ceremony was held at Temasek Polytechnic and hosted by Singapore Emcee Lester Leo.
Guest of Honor Mr Masagos Zulkifli said new citizens can build up ties with the locals by participating in community activities, adding that integration is a two-way process that takes time and requires efforts by both new citizens and locals.
“While new citizens need to learn and accept the Singapore way of life so as to integrate better into out society, local Singaporeans must also put in effort to encourage and welcome new citizens to step forward and be active members of the community,” he said.
